- Previously worked at Audit Brasil Auditores Independentes S/C (1997 to 2002), where he was made a partner in 2000. Was an external auditor and business consultant at Trevisan Auditores Independentes S/C (1995 to 1997) and Araújo Fontes (1991 to 1995).

- Holds a degree in Accountancy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Minas Gerais (1997) and an MBA in Tax Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas; is currently studying Law at Univille.
